Skeleton Plant Walk with CoreyPine

One of the most useful skills for the winter wildcrafter is to be able to identify plants after the leaves have fallen, by the “skeletons” they leave behind. So in honor of Halloween and to prepare us for the winter that’s coming, we’re going to go on a walk and identify plants the way you seem them in winter — and so now you’ll have 6 more months of the year when you can harvest plants! The plant walk will be at the Botanical Gardens near UNC Asheville. The address is 151 W .T. Weaver Blvd, Asheville, NC 28804. Invite your friends. Extra credit to those who show up in costume.

Cost: $20
